gui logger improvements

• it should use TabularDataFrame as a basis
• it should reduce heavily repeated messages
• it should clear out a node's messages when the node is rerun
• it should disappear when empty and reappear when stuff is added.

I think this is going to be really helpful when people are getting used to the tool.
