How to remove other Models and enforce my own custom model for all users

[Adetona]

Hi, Is it possible to remove all other models and make the custom model the default for all users?

I know this is old, but in case someone else stumbles their way here...

You need to add some modelSpecs to your librechat.yaml file. Here's is an example:

modelSpecs:
  enforce: true
  prioritize: true
  list:
    - name: "default-model"
      label: "Gemma4"
      softDefault: true
      preset:
        endpoint: "llama"
        model: "unsloth/gemma-4-26B-A4B-it-qat-GGUF:Q4_K_XL"

The preset endpoint and model fields have to match the names you used in your custom endpoints section. Adding just my local model made all the other models disappear from the dropdown list in your screenshot.

EDIT1:
Looks like this isn't perfect. It seems that users can still select the non-local models when building agents. If I find a solution to that, I'll update my comment.

EDIT2:
I figured out the agent provider issue. You have to add agents/allowedProviders to your endpoints section. Here's an example:

endpoints:
  custom:
    - name: "llama"
      ...
      ...
  agents:
    allowedProviders:
      - llama
