Movie previews on mobile/tablet

Hi, I have enabled the settings for preview when focusing on a movie, but it doesn't preview (on ios and android app).

Do I need some setup for it to work? E.g. generate trickplay images or generate sample/trailer? Or is it not supported in apps? Is there any plans for expanding this feature to support more options like selecting how far into the movie the preview starts, the duration and the playback speed?

Another small thing: an option for shape and size of actor portraits would be appreciated

For mobile its difficult to have the movie previews work. On desktop it works on mouse hover, on tv it works through dpad movement and when the item is focused. On mobile its difficult because I dont have a way to activate it since there's no dpad, no mouse, and long press on a card opens up the long press menu.

I understand, but when I click a card on the frontpage, it expands to full size. I assumed that would start a preview. Also, the backdrop when a movie is selected could be the preview playing. That's at least how I assumed it was supposed to work

You're using Modern home row, and originally that was going to be the plan until everyone hated Modern home rows on mobile and I set classic as the default.
Settings > Personalization > Home Screen > Row Type > Classic

Ah, I see. I mostly use a tablet, and modern home rows looks awesome on tablet, but yeah, not that great on mobile. I will continue with modern on my tablet :) Thanks for responding.
