Under systemd users are able to use systemd-run to spawn one off tasks, that are supervised by the systemd daemon.
It would be useful if openrc had a similar capability, allowing users to spawn one off services and have openrc supervise them.
This would be useful for running one-off long admin task(e.g. creating backups), developing openrc services, writing shell scripts with dependencies and dealing with other minor annoyances.
