It's quite weird to have a huge IDE with tons of options, and not what any editor on planet does: text wrap on/off via menu option. Yes, we can do it based on MIME type but it's not enough because... see the use case...
Use case/motivation
For example, I use html both for coding (and I don't want to wrap code) but I also use HTML to write notes (and there I want soft wrap). A the moment I have to use Geany or Vim for that.... and it's quite ridiculous that I have to change software for that reason.
