accountTypeAsyncAtom already retries getCode using the retry() util when it throws an error, or when wallet info changes. No need for this change.

The finding concerns recovery after those retries are exhausted, with wallet info unchanged. I checked the current code: WalletUpdater has no refresh trigger, and the only set(accountTypeAsyncAtom) call is in the test at Line 452. In that case, RPC recovery alone leaves accountTypeAtom and isEoaAtom at null.
I accept your decision not to add a recovery trigger. The remaining limitation is that recovery requires a wallet-info change.

But there is 1 issue:
- connect to eoa
- sign a permit, don't place an order
- disconnect a wallet
- clear out the local storage, hard refresh
- reconnect the wallet
- pick the same token pair --> swap button is disabled.
I did not manage to reproduce this issue on Prod. Could you please take a look at it?

@elena-zh Can you reproduce it with a different wallet? Otherwise, do you have any setting in Rabby forcing it to re-connect? I cannot reproduce it, but also it doesn't work the same for me: after disconnecting the wallet and the hard reload, the wallet will be disconnected unless I click "Connect" again. |

Looks good, thanks for the refactor!
The only thing that bothers me a bit is this usage useAtomValue(isSafeViaWcAtom) === true
I think in some cases it can be done without === true, no?
Also, personally, I would have kept things like const useIsSafeApp = () => useAtomValue(isSafeAppAtom) to keep the diff smaller.
