Is this guide up to date?

I'm surprised that this repo has become relatively popular. Can anyone check if this guide is still up to date? Anything that needs updating?

also it would be good to keep client and server and config in several places, if it's possible) kinda 'create-react-app'

I would be happy to accept PRs or even add more maintainers to the repo since I'm no longer into the topic and don't have the time to dig it further.
