Tizen IPTV Player – a small open-source player for Samsung TVs, built on iptv-org

Hi everyone, and thank you for iptv-org: it is the reason this project exists.

I wanted to watch the iptv-org channels on my Samsung smart TV, but there is no VLC for Tizen. So I wrote a small player in plain HTML/JS (public domain) that runs on Samsung Tizen TVs and reads your playlists:

• Country browser: pick any country from the countries/*.m3u list and load its channels on demand
• Category tabs from group-title, plus favourites (long-press OK)
• Remembers the last channel; skips automatically to the next one if a stream is dead
• Everything works with the default remote keys

Tested on a 2020 Samsung 7 Series (UE50TU7070). It ships no channels or streams of its own, it only reads the playlists you point it to. The README explains how to build and install it with VS Code and the Tizen TV extension.

Feedback is very welcome, especially from anyone who can try it on other Tizen models. The interface text is in Italian for now; translations are welcome too.
