Introduction
I'm Adam, I am an Army Veteran and a Systems/Network Engineer. I am from all over and have been all over the U.S., but I have been in Austin the most and I am trying to fully settle down in Austin. I just recently had a son, have been involved in some Austin politics, and wanting to get more involved with local community. I recently built PA system controllers for the Buda 4th of July parade speakers.
What I know
Systems engineering: Linux/Windows Server administration, Virtualization, Infrastructure as Code(Ansible, Terraform, Docker) Apache/Nginx, and more
Network engineering: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, ethernet/fiber optic/RF cables, Satellite antennae, WiFi technologies, cloud/virtualized networking, IDS/IPS, Secure tunnels, NAS/SAN, RF technologies, and more
Database Administration: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL, etc.
Programing: HTML, CSS, JS, Node.JS, C/C++, C#, Python, and more
And too much more to list here.
What I want to know
I want to move into management, administration, or architecht level positions where I am either owning the products/solutions I am developing, leading others, or both.
There are also a few technologies I would like more dedicated experience with. I am comfortable with AWS, and I've dabbled in Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and ELK stack, but I would love dedicated experience in production environments.
