I've updated the timer proposal with the changes we discussed and released a v0.2.0 on crates.io.

I've also updated the open PR for the embassy-time impl.
Additionally the question was raised about how strict the elapsed time should be: tweedegolf/embedded-hal-timer#9

I would like to talk about a couple of action items from the Unconference related to updating / extending the Guide for silicon vendors to enable Rust support for their SoCs.

Nothing urgent this week. In case we have time left:

→ Support question, maybe someone knows the answer?
Gut feeling: Not easily possible, maybe make the word size a feature flag in the driver?

→ Feature request. Likely not possible in embedded-hal. At that abstraction level, we can't know what that method should return. Correct?

It's been about 1.5 years since the last release of critical-section. I would really like to have loom support (added about 10 months ago) available in a version on crates.io. Is there a chance we could coordinate a (minor, as far as I can tell) release that contains that change?
