Hello,
thank you for keeping this project alive.
I'm running several things in my little homelab and I always wanted a private send file option - so this seemed the perfect project to add to my private hosting.
I'm running all of my projects behind a standalone reverse proxy.
There will be a question at the end.
I've guided Cursor and Claude Opus through modernizing the tech stack for this Send.
I do not want to put any pressure on you to use whatever I did and I'm very aware how vibe coding is really not that popular. I don't want to engage in this discussion here.
But since I spent the 5 hours on this and the Docker container now builds and the app runs successfully with the updated stack and dependencies I thought it might be interesting for other people.
This is the commit message that Cursor wrote, which annoyed me to no end, because I had asked it to just summarize what we changed so that I could put it in the commit the way I wanted to... but - the systems jump ahead a lot of times. I digress...
So the question is if there is interest in this from the community here?
I'm more than happy to make this available. I'll have to learn how pull-requests works with git. So far I've used git just alone for myself with my projects and not with other people. Plus "pull request" sounds like I'm demanding something from somebody, which I really don't want.
But I don't want to put more work on anybody. I understand that, that's why I'm posting here in the discussions...
