This update represents the third major iteration of the Master Dy website, with a focus on structural stability and search engine optimization.
- Corrected XML structure to ensure full compatibility with Blogger templates
- Fixed layout break caused by an unclosed wrapper element (
outer-wrapper) - Stabilized rendering behavior between homepage and static pages
- Cleaned up invalid or inconsistent markup that could affect rendering
- Rewrote
<title>for stronger search relevance - Rebuilt meta description with clearer positioning
- Replaced outdated keyword targeting (removed generic "alternative metal")
- Added focused keywords around:
- Industrial metal
- Female-fronted metal
- Modern dark/gothic metal
The site is now intentionally aligned with:
- Industrial metal (modern direction)
- Dark / cinematic metal aesthetics
- Audience overlap with bands like:
- Rammstein
- Lord of the Lost
This improves how search engines understand the project and increases the chances of appearing in related artist and genre searches, especially in the European market.
Changes were implemented directly within the Blogger XML template, ensuring:
- Valid XML structure
- No impact on visual layout
- Compatibility with existing styling and scripts
- Clean integration of SEO elements without breaking rendering
This project represents the foundation of my web development journey. Long before formal study, this website was where I learned to read error messages, understand code written by others, and solve real problems in a live environment.
Those same skills now support my ongoing transition into C# and .NET development.
"Real problems on a real website taught me more than any tutorial ever could."
