Lint does not warn if format specifier missing

I added a debug statement
Timber.v("perm % is a valid combination %s",possibleCom,validCom);
instead of
Timber.v("perm %s is a valid combination %s",possibleCom,validCom);

There was no warning or error. The above bug (missing s after %) causes weird behavior.
In my case the subsequent library call post the debug log never completed.
