This adds a native osx-arm64 (Apple Silicon) build to the release workflow, next to the existing osx-x64 one:

  • Obj2Tiles/Properties/PublishProfiles/osx-arm64.pubxml — the osx-x64 profile with RuntimeIdentifier set to osx-arm64;
  • publish.yml — one more dotnet publish, one more zip (Obj2Tiles-OsxArm64.zip) and the zip added to the release files.

Today Apple Silicon Macs run Obj2Tiles-Osx64 under Rosetta 2. I built this profile on Linux (dotnet publish -p:PublishProfile=osx-arm64.pubxml Obj2Tiles, .NET SDK 10.0.403, same as the workflow's ubuntu runner) and ran the binary on an M-series Mac (macOS, arm64): it starts without extra signing (the linker's ad-hoc signature is enough) and --version reports 1.8.0+7d83cbd. On the same 448,734-triangle textured OBJ with default settings, the native build completed the pipeline in 11 s, the Osx64 build under Rosetta in 24 s; both wrote the same structure (tileset.json, root.b3dm, LOD-0…LOD-2).

We use Obj2Tiles from EMStudio (Extended Matrix, CNR-ISPC) to turn large photogrammetric meshes into 3D Tiles; many of our users are on Apple Silicon. Thank you for the tool.
