This candidate is a clean-room, local fixture export for a Mac-first companion surface that helps coordinate multiple coding-agent systems while exposing usage/context savings and fail-closed approval evidence.
It is not a production app, runtime, router, app-server, device companion, or distribution package. Codex, Hermes, and other engines remain replaceable execution capabilities; the companion surface does not become a shell, unrestricted executor, approval-policy owner, or permanent runtime master.
- Swift domain contracts and a fixture-driven macOS menu-bar shell.
- Python M0 contract fixtures for immutable events, bounded discovery, context savings, handoffs, receipts, and security states.
- A separate sanitized Vibe/Hermes event and companion-action fixture contract.
- Accepted architecture ADRs and local build/test instructions.
From this directory:
python3 -m unittest discover -s Tests -v
swiftc -typecheck Sources/VibeCore/VibeCore.swift
swiftc Sources/VibeCore/VibeCore.swift Tools/VibeCoreSmoke/main.swift -o /tmp/vibe-core-smoke
/tmp/vibe-core-smoke
./script/build_and_run.shThe build helper creates a local fixture bundle but does not launch it unless
passed --run. The canonical source verification recorded in
VERIFICATION.md was no-launch and confirmed the app was not running.
The companion contract can be verified independently:
cd contracts/vibe-hermex-event-contract-v1
