fix(companion): put check in and check out first on the booking screen - #3353
On the phone, a booking that is ready to move made you hunt for the button that moves it. This puts check in / check out first, and fixes a card hint that promised an action the tap does not do.
Before
After
Ongoing booking screen
Edit, More actions, Scan to Add, Browse to Add, Select to Remove come first. Check In All is the 6th button (8th on a partly-out booking), below the fold.
Check In All is the first button, right under the progress bar. Scan / Select to Check In follow, then scan / select to check out what is left, then Edit, More actions, add and remove.
Reserved booking screen
Check Out All Assets after the four editing buttons.
Check Out All Assets (or Scan to assign & check out) first.
Draft booking screen
Edit and Reserve side by side on top.
Unchanged.
Ongoing card in the list
"Tap to check in" (a tap only opens the booking).
"Ready to check in", matching "Ready to check out".
What changed
app/(tabs)/bookings/[id].tsx: the status-action blocks move above the booking-management block. Pure reorder: every button keeps its gate and handler (the Edit/Reserve block is byte-identical to main; the only non-moved lines are comments).
app/(tabs)/bookings/index.tsx: hint copy.
.maestro/flows/bookings/05-checkin-flow.yaml: looks for the new hint text.
Mirrors the web booking header, where Check out / Check in is the primary button. Came out of the Mountview ask to check bookings in and out with fewer taps (web side: #3280).
Proof (iOS simulator, this branch, staging data)
Built a fresh booking in the app and walked the whole path:
New booking ZZ Test phone ord with a custodian: draft, Reserve disabled until assets are added (unchanged).
Browse to Add, two assets: Reserve enabled. Reserve: "now reserved".
Reserved screen: Check Out All Assets on top. Tapped it, confirmed: "now ongoing".
Ongoing screen: Check In All on top, under the progress bar.
Back to the list: the card reads Ready to check in. Tapped the card, Check In All on top, confirmed: "now complete", 2/2 returned.
DB: booking COMPLETE, both assets AVAILABLE. Test booking archived afterwards.
Also checked an existing partly-checked-out booking (Check In All first, check-out buttons for the rest below it, all 11 buttons present) and that Check In All still asks to confirm.
Seen while testing, not changed here: a draft with no custodian shows Reserve as enabled and only fails on the server ("Booking has no custodian"). The phone's reserve pre-check covers empty, archived, unavailable and already-booked assets, not a missing custodian. Worth a follow-up.

Booking Updates
Booking cards now display “Ready to check in” for eligible bookings.
On booking details, check-in and check-out actions appear before booking management controls, making status actions easier to find. Other booking actions remain available in a reordered layout, including edit, reserve, add, browse, and remove controls.
On a reserved or ongoing booking the phone screen listed Edit, More actions,
Scan to Add, Browse to Add and Select to Remove before the status action, so
Check In All sat below the fold on an ongoing booking. The status action now
leads: Check Out All Assets (or Scan to assign & check out) on a reserved
booking, the check-in group on one that is out, then scan or select to check
out what is left, then the booking management buttons. Drafts are unchanged.
Only the order moves; every button keeps its gate and handler.
The bookings list card said "Tap to check in", but a tap opens the booking. It
now reads "Ready to check in", matching "Ready to check out".
The change reorders JSX button blocks on the companion booking screen. It also changes one hint string and the Maestro flow that matches it. I found no security issues. Every button keeps its existing gate and handler, and no server code, auth check or data access changed.
The booking detail screen now places check-in and check-out actions before booking management controls. The booking card hint and Maestro flow use “Ready to check in” instead of “Tap to check in.”
