We are launching beta testing for Pinpoint V this week and ending support for Pinpoint v2. Please try out the new system. Major improvements include full support for all BrainGlobe atlases, access to all probes in the SpikeInterface probe library, and proper support for custom atlases and 3D models. The new back-end can now export the full 3D scene as well as sync to the cloud linked to your ORCiD.

A preprint describing Pinpoint has been reviewed in eLife. The paper provides an introduction to the key features and should be used as a citation if Pinpoint proves integral to a scientific publication.
