Bug / issue (if any) fixed, which PR introduced the bug, how it was discovered
FLR reset has been requested for npu3 VF/PF.
How problem was solved, alternative solutions (if any) and why they were rejected
Added FLR reset type to SubCmdReset and added to proper smi config. Will not show up on classic, only on pf/vf. Reset subcmd will also not show up for other AIE2 devices. Alveo still only has user reset option, npu3 vf/pf only have the new FLR reset option. FLR reset also requires admin privileges.
This first iteration requires separate shim changes in xdna in order to actually work, otherwise the reset will fail for now. xrt-smi queries the shim, which will handle triggering the FLR reset and return whether it was successful.
