I'm interested in understanding what makes a problem inherently complex and what complexity we introduce along the way.
I've been interested in open source and free software since I was a kid. I liked being able to explore the code behind the software I used.
I'm currently a Lead Software Engineer working on e-SUS Primary Care, a nationwide digital health ecosystem for Brazil's Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), the world's largest universal public healthcare system.
It supports a network reaching more than 160 million people.
I enjoy playing electric guitar, listening to music, reading about neuroscience, traveling, hiking, biking, and building games and personal projects just for fun.
I'm also a dual Brazilian and Italian citizen.
