I'm a software engineer in Sherbrooke, Québec. Most of my recent work is applied AI, automation, and self-hosted infrastructure. I take what I build from design to production.
I also come from music performance and sound design, which explains the real-time audio projects below.

- midi-velocity-filter — macOS menu-bar app that repairs velocity spikes from failing piano keys (stuck sending 125–127), filtered inline in the CoreMIDI callback at microsecond scale, measured live in the UI. Swift.
- whisper-stream-no-limit — transcribes long recordings by splitting them into chunks processed five at a time, streaming partial text back as it goes. FastAPI, Docker.
- media-to-speech — audio and video to text as a containerized service; files over the API's 25 MB limit get chunked automatically. FastAPI, Redis, FFmpeg.
- github-docs-scraper — pulls every Markdown file out of a GitHub directory into one file or JSON. On PyPI, installs with one command. Python.
- andy-bourgeois-case-studies — write-ups of private work: a conversational-AI platform built for a museum, a benchmark of 79 models across six serving engines, an invoice pipeline running in production.
Software engineering work in AI systems and automation, full-time or contract. Based in Sherbrooke; comfortable remote.
