Seems that the maintainer stopped maitaining this app. Have you considered forking this project? Also, is your PR compatible with the latest nextcloud version? Curious to know also, can you trigger it from the android APP?

@e-alfred Please review the pull request and release new version of the app to be available via Nextcloud store.
Note it is NOT backward compatible.

the fix still works well as of NC 31.0.12.
Currently scans can be triggered from the Web version (browser) only.
Unfortunately, I do not have the bandwidth to fork the app and maintain it.
