Installing KLog on a macOS system is easy.

.dmgfile. - Click and drag the KLog icon into the Applications folder shortcut shown in the window.

Because KLog is distributed outside of the Mac App Store, the first time you open it macOS Gatekeeper may warn that the app is from an "unidentified developer" or was downloaded from the internet. If this happens, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about KLog being blocked, and click Open Anyway, then confirm in the dialog that appears.

The First Run / Setup Wizard will guide you through the initial configuration the first time KLog starts.
If you prefer to build KLog yourself instead of using the pre-built .dmg, see Development Notes and Building on macOS.
