Add XGRChain Mainnet (EVM, chain ID 1643) as a Gateway network #694
Add XGRChain Mainnet as a supported network under Gateway's existing ethereum / EVM chain layer.
XGRChain is a public EVM-compatible blockchain operated by XGR.Network GmbH. The currently published network parameters are:
Chain ID: 1643
RPC: https://rpc.xgr.network
Native currency symbol: XGR
Explorer: https://explorer.xgr.network
Documentation: https://xgr.network/docs/
Website: https://xgr.network
Gateway's current EthereumNetworkConfig already models chainID, nodeURL, nativeCurrencySymbol, and geckoId, so this appears to fit the existing EVM network configuration rather than requiring a new chain implementation.
One point we do not want to guess: the current config requires geckoId. If a CoinGecko identifier is mandatory for every EVM network, please advise the accepted handling for a network where no verified value should be assumed. We can then prepare the corresponding configuration/test PR.
Impact
This would make XGRChain available through Gateway's standardized EVM network layer and allow downstream Gateway users/connectors to address the chain through the normal Ethereum-compatible configuration path.
This request is only for chain/network support; it does not claim any specific DEX liquidity, connector availability, or trading-pair support on XGRChain.
Additional context
I checked the current repository issues for XGR, XGRChain, and chain ID 1643 and did not find an existing request.
One factual update on the geckoId point from the original request: XGR already has a public CoinGecko asset profile with API/coin ID xgr (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/xgr). So if Gateway requires geckoId for every EVM network, xgr is the verified value rather than something we need to infer.
The remaining canonical network parameters are unchanged: chain ID 1643, RPC https://rpc.xgr.network, native symbol XGR, explorer https://explorer.xgr.network.
If this fits the existing Ethereum network configuration path, we can prepare the corresponding config/test contribution.
