I’ve noticed ranger can feel slow when browsing large directories or loading previews.
Is there any known work or profiling done on performance bottlenecks?
Would it make sense to optimize critical parts of the code (possibly even using C for performance-heavy sections)?
I’d be happy to contribute if there are clear areas where help is needed.
