[Feature Request] Footnotes per Heading #896

Open

Description

@InACommandBlock

You can use footnotes by adding [^index] in your text and resolving it later with [^index]: footnote.
But at the moment, all footnotes, no matter where you write them, accumulate at the bottom of the Preview.
However, in large texts, I sometimes want the footnotes to be resolved at the end of a chapter, meaning before the next ## or ### heading.
My idea would be to add an option to the settings tab, wherein you can specify if footnotes should be added to the very bottom of the text, or at the end of the respective chapter. For example, a dropdown to choose between # (the way it is now), ## and ###.
Is there any demand for this? Does the Markdown style guide permit it?
I appreciate any feedback.
