is the new AnimCube.txt tab necessary?

Please remind me, if/when the config parameter will work as it works for a webmaster, won´t be the new AnimCube.txt tab redundant? Because the settings will be already in the text area of the config parameter.

Actually not. Remember that I'm trying to build a tool that keeps the output code simple, so it tries to eliminate redundaces. The AnimCube.txt tab sets a new config wich is capable of giving exaclty the result seeing in the cube without anything else. Therefore, if you enter a config saying that snap=1 but choose snap=0 in the lateral menu, the output of AnimCube.txt tab will be nothing, since snap=0 is already a default of AnimCube. Sumarinzing the output of the new AnimCube.txt tab can be used (as a config) to replace everything wich was set in the menu, including any config input itself.

Looks like an extra work to me (I mean, why? (but also why not if you want to?)), but OK.

In that case I suggest to give the tab another name in order to be everything less confusing. I think I finally get your idea, you are basically trying to introduce the Simplify button (but for parameter settings and in the format of a config file) from https://alg.cubing.net/ - enter R R R into the Moves textarea, then click on the Simplify button at the bottom-right to change it from R R R to R'.

As for a tab name, how about "simplified settings" or "settings without redundancy" or "non-redundant settings"?

To complicate things, since you are working on it anyway, the "simplified settings" tab could be split into two parts/sub-tabs: one for settings in a config file format, the other for settings in an HTML format.

To complicate even a little bit more, simplified settings in an HTML format could be inserted to the link to the simulator (this one: #18), if the config tool user wants it.
