Phase 2.1 of the single-repo cutover runbook
(mintproject/monorepo docs/runbook-single-repo-cutover.md).

This repository is not imported into the single-repo and it is not archived.
Docker Hub is dropped for every MINT image, so this image moves too.

Changes, all in .github/workflows/docker-publish.yml:

  • DOCKER_IMAGE_REPOSITORY becomes ghcr.io/mintproject.
  • The login step uses ghcr.io and secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN in place of the
Docker Hub secrets. docker/login-action moves from v1 to v3, because v1
runs on a Node runtime GitHub no longer supports.
  • The push job gets permissions: packages: write.

Tags do not change: <safe-branch>, <sha>, and latest on the default branch.
Platforms do not change: linux/amd64,linux/arm64.

After merge, two steps are needed before the chart can point at this image:

  1. Wait for the main build to finish.

  2. A new GHCR package is created private. Flip
ghcr.io/mintproject/mint-ui-lit to public, then prove it:

    docker logout ghcr.io
    docker manifest inspect ghcr.io/mintproject/mint-ui-lit:latest

Phase 2.2 flips the chart's repository: key. It must not merge before that
probe passes, or the chart points at an image that cannot be pulled.

The Docker Hub repository keeps its last image and its 18,076 pulls. Phase 10
adds a deprecation note to it.

Docker Hub is dropped for every MINT image. The workflow now logs in to
ghcr.io with the workflow token and pushes ghcr.io/mintproject/mint-ui-lit.

The tags do not change: <safe-branch>, <sha>, and latest on the default
branch.
