Warning
QuackRidge is experimental software. Quack is beta, protocol compatibility can change, and no production stability guarantee is made before the release gates pass.
QuackRidge is PondPilot's loopback-only, read-only database bridge. It embeds DuckDB, attaches private PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite, DuckDB, and ODBC sources locally, and exposes complete server-side statements to PondPilot through the Quack protocol. Source credentials never enter the browser.
The pinned experimental data plane intentionally advertises
cancellation_noop: the current signed Quack artifact cannot stop native server
work after a browser cancellation or abandoned result. See the
security model before running untrusted workloads.
The project is licensed under Apache-2.0. The supported release targets are macOS AMD64, macOS ARM64, and Linux AMD64. Windows remains a follow-up because DuckDB's Go/MinGW build cannot load the available MSVC extension bundle. An artifact is not supported until its native smoke test has passed.
QuackRidge requires Go 1.26 or newer, CGO, and platform build tools.
