I'm a mechatronics engineer (MSc) with a bachelor's in electronics engineering. I've spent several years in power electronics doing design and validation, often working as development engineer, test engineer, and system engineer at the same time. I like doing a bit of everything, and I find that being able to adapt is most of the job.
Now I'm a test engineer on precision laser measurement systems, where I take messy, exploratory testing and turn it into something repeatable, automated, and measurable. I write most of my tools in Rust and do the analysis in Python.
I also write open-source tools for test benches under Stokker Technologies. Dokime turns test procedures written in Rust into operator workflows, live measurements, and self-contained HTML reports. Harmos is the Rust application runtime it is built on.
I write the odd article on my website. I'm also on LinkedIn.
