Meta-issue
Each docs/ops/*.md file carries a "Testing checklist (bench)" section. v1.4.1 audited these and split them:
[x]— verifiable in software / SITL (17 items across 8 profiles)[ ]— requires physical bench hardware, RF range test, or flight-day field activity
This issue tracks the remaining physical items across all 12 profiles. They cannot be signed off from the repository alone — they need bench setup, a launch site, and operator time.

How to contribute
- Pick one profile you have hardware for.
- Work through the
[ ]items in its ops guide. - Record the bench run (short video + CSV / PCAP is plenty).
- Open a PR flipping verified items to
[x]with a link to the evidence in the commit message. - Store evidence under
docs/characterization/<profile>/<date>_<test-name>.{log,mp4,csv}.
Definition of done (this meta-issue)
- All 12 profiles have at least one physical item verified with evidence.

docs/characterization/README.mdlists every verified item. - Any item that fails verification opens a follow-up bug and stays
[ ]in the ops guide.
Not a single-PR issue. Expected to stay open for months.
