I have a degree in Software Engineering and an MSc in Web Engineering, both from the University of Oviedo. I'm based in Spain and work full-time as a researcher at WESO (Web Semantics Oviedo), where I'm in the first year of my PhD. My interest lies in knowledge representation and, in particular, in applying knowledge graph technologies to real-world problems. Most of my work goes into rudof, an open-source Rust library that provides tools for working with knowledge graphs, which I help develop and maintain. Rust is my language of choice these days, but I'm happy to use whatever fits the problem best. I also really enjoy architectural and design patterns and the infrastructure side of software: building systems that are not just correct, but well-structured, easily maintainable and reliable. |
