Azizbek Umidjonov

Android and full-stack engineer. I ship mobile apps end to end, and I stay until the release is live and stable.

Seoul, South Korea (KST, UTC+9) — working remotely with teams anywhere. typosbro.github.io · khasanjonovich@gmail.com

What I take on

  • Ship an Android app end to end, or port an existing iOS app to Android.
  • Rescue a release — crashes, ANRs, store rejections, billing and subscription integration.
  • Build or fix the backend — Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, Hono, Node, Postgres.
  • Build real-time media pipelines — live streaming, multi-platform RTMP fan-out, speech-to-text, translation, low-latency TTS.
  • Add AI features to a product that already has users.

Receipts

  • Spiko English — solo-built English learning app. 100K+ installs and 4.8 stars on Google Play, cash-positive after infrastructure, AI inference, platform fees and taxes. Kotlin + Jetpack Compose + Cloudflare. ~1,320 commits over the app's lifetime.
  • Brivva — co-founded and built the technology for real-time multilingual live commerce: a Rust media pipeline (Axum, Tokio, GPU ffmpeg), a Cloudflare Workers API, shared OpenAPI contracts, and OpenTofu infrastructure. 614 commits, ~21k lines of Rust. Archived when the funding round did not close, now open source.
  • Oki — took a language-learning app's Android client to production. 400–800 daily users, 0.27% crash rate, 0.11% ANR rate, live on Google Play.
  • uzpay — zero-dependency TypeScript payment library for Uzbekistan's Payme, Click, and Paynet providers. Published on npm, used in production.

I run AI coding agents as a real production workflow — around 300 agent sessions and 1,000+ lines of automation. That is why the delivery speed is not normal for one person.

Stack

Mobile: Kotlin + Jetpack Compose + Hilt + Room, React Native, Flutter Frontend: React, Next.js, Svelte, Astro, Tailwind, Vite Backend: Node, Hono (Cloudflare Workers + D1 + R2), Rust (Axum + tokio), Postgres Infra: Cloudflare, AWS Fargate + ECS, Terraform, GitHub Actions

Languages

Tajik, Uzbek, Russian, English. Korean is a work in progress.

Interests

Systems that cross language boundaries (live translation, multilingual UX), consumer apps that respect the user's time, developer tools that don't waste tokens.
