Failed dependency update
Package: typescript
From: 6.0.3 → To: 7.0.2
Error
Failed during pnpm update-outdated-deps (the update-outdated-deps:fix-pkg-json step, which runs ESLint over the package.json files), and would equally fail validation Step 2a (pnpm lint), since every ESLint invocation loads eslint.config.ts → @workleap/eslint-configs → typescript-eslint:
Oops! Something went wrong! :(
ESLint: 9.39.2
Error: typescript-eslint does not support TS 7.0.

typescript-eslint hard-fails on TypeScript 7.0 and points at these references:
What was tried
- Confirmed the failure is not specific to the
fix-pkg-json script: the incompatibility lives in the shared ESLint config chain, so it blocks all linting.
- No clean migration is available. typescript-eslint 8.67.0 (the latest version, which this run did update to) refuses TS 7.0 outright; per its own error message, support is being tracked for TS >= 7.1 and would require an upstream typescript-eslint release. Adding a shim, or pinning a second side-by-side TypeScript install, would be a workaround rather than a migration.
- Reverted
typescript to 6.0.3 in all 15 workspace package.json files via pnpm -r --include-workspace-root update typescript@6.0.3, then continued with the remaining updates. All validation steps passed afterwards.
Note: typecheck in this repo runs tsgo from @typescript/native-preview, so the typescript package is only consumed as the TS API by typescript-eslint and editors. The hold-back is purely about unblocking ESLint.
