Campatible with Qt?

I have been trying to test this library in the Qt Creator IDE. I keep failing to build the project, whatever I try.
Is this library compatible with Qt 6.5.3?

Should be compatible, it's just a standard C++ library. The question is, why you would use this over Qt's native CAN bus implementation QCanBus and QCanBusDevice
