Fix ambient enums, class semantics, and mapped arguments - #3510
Parse regular and const enums inside ambient module declarations, including explicit exports.
Route canonical string Array updates through ordinary property reads and writes. Preserve interpreted class-instance key order across integer indices, accessor definitions, and copies.
Declare interpreted constructor parameter properties before ordinary field initializers.
Deduplicate compiled Array keys when an enumerable index has descriptor metadata.
Link sloppy simple parameters to their mapped arguments in both engines and preserve descriptor rules that sever the link.
Add ECMAScript private getters and setters with class-owned brands in both engines.
Bind lexical super() to the closed generic constructor owner or the intrinsic Array receiver as appropriate.
Release build and 488 affected-suite tests passed on the final reviewed commit. Code-quality gates passed.
Standalone saved-IL verification for the generic and intrinsic Array constructor cases.
Node and pinned TypeScript 6.0.3 comparisons for the relevant source and declaration cases. Six mapped-arguments and two private-brand Test262 cases passed with the official harness in both engines.
Ambient enums keep a local declaration scope and preserve quoted names in round-trip declaration emission.
Parameter properties keep earlier initializer writes. Class enumeration rechecks live descriptors before visiting keys. Compiled accessor copy and mutation cases have coverage alongside interpretation.
Direct super calls use the current parent and recheck the shared receiver binding after construction.
Mapped arguments preserve namespace and closure bindings, inherited setters, and sorting. Emission keeps the additional descriptor machinery out of programs that cannot observe arguments.
Private accessor checking covers inferred and forward field dependencies, ambient brands, setter restrictions, and var hoisting. Declaration emit preserves private accessor syntax.
The second review added live callback reads for arguments objects, literal string enum indexing, forward private-getter inference, and enumerable-only JSON serialization with replacer-list support.
This pull request adds mapped-arguments behavior and private getter/setter support. It changes compiler handling for lexical super() in Array subclasses and generic class expressions, updates array and class-instance property behavior, and expands ambient-module enum parsing and declaration emission.
Parameter analysis identifies eligible mapped indices, and runtime argument creation receives the parameter environment and function body. The tests cover aliasing, detachment, descriptors, integrity operations, strict and non-simple parameters, generators, async functions, and modules.
Compiler paths identify mapped parameters, bind argument descriptors to parameter cells, and preserve captured cells in async state machines and iterator stubs.

Descriptor values can use parameter cells. Array operations update or detach mappings during writes, deletion, redefinition, sealing, and freezing. Compiled list paths use canonical index strings and route arguments-object deletion through indexed deletion.

The parser records getter and setter facets and checks declaration conflicts. The type checker resolves facet types and validates reads, writes, calls, assignments, and receivers.
Interpreter and compiler paths dispatch private accessor reads, writes, calls, compound operations, and increments through accessor facets. They also check brands and missing facets.

Ambient enum parsing and validation src/SharpTS/Parsing/Parser.Declarations.cs, src/SharpTS/TypeSystem/TypeChecker.Statements.Modules.cs, tests/SharpTS.Tests/TypeCheckerTests/AmbientEnumDeclarationTests.cs
Ambient module blocks parse regular and const enums in exported and non-exported forms, and the checker processes enum members in an isolated child environment.
nickna/SharpTS#3505 — The issue concerns lexical super() in an async arrow inside a derived constructor; this pull request changes lexical-super construction and receiver binding.
nickna/SharpTS#3477 — The issue concerns element initialization after lexical super() binds this; this pull request adds lexical-super element initialization paths.
Possibly related PRs
nickna/SharpTS#3329 — Both changes update canonical string-index handling for array reads and writes in the interpreter.

Explanation
The title "Fix ambient enums, class semantics, and mapped arguments" names three of the main change areas in the changeset. The raw summary and PR objectives show ambient enum parsing and emission, class-instance enumeration and ordering, parameter properties, private accessors, lexical super, and sloppy-mode mapped arguments. The title does not name every area, such as Array index semantics and private accessors, but it does not mislead. Its wording is specific to the changes and is not vague.

Sixteen issues are directly linked and active: #2945, #3473, #3476, #3478, #3480, #3482, #3483, #3484, #3485, #3509, #3499, #3512, #3513, #3515, #3517, #3519. No parent or contextual issues apply. The previous assessment covered only the first ten. This review adds the other six.
Implementation and test evidence, by group:
#2945: Parser.Declarations.cs and Statements.Modules.cs accept regular, const, and exported enums in ambient blocks. AmbientEnumDeclarationTests covers the forms.
#3473: Interpreter.Helpers.cs routes canonical string keys through the array update reference. ArrayStringIndexUpdateTests runs in both modes.
#3476 and #3517: SharpTSArguments, SharpTSArray, and the compiled mapped-arguments emitters link sloppy simple parameters. MappedArgumentsTests case 1 matches the issue output ("3 4 5 5"). Case 7 covers an absent index with an inherited setter, in sloppy and strict forms, in both modes. The expected output is "setter 11\n10 false 1", which matches the Node result in #3517.
#3478, #3480, #3499, #3515: SharpTSInstance key storage, ObjectBuiltIns enumeration, Interpreter for-in and Async for-in (OwnEnumerableKeys), and JSONBuiltIns reviver snapshots. ClassIntegerKeyOrderTests, ClassAccessorKeyOrderTests, and ClassInstanceEnumerabilityTests cover ordering, copies, for-in, and the reviver.
#3482: SharpTSClass.InitializeOwnInstanceElements declares parameter properties before ordinary fields. ParameterPropertyDeclarationOrderTests covers presence and order. Its coverage is interpreted-mode only.
#3483: Parser.Classes.cs private accessor parsing and validation, plus interpreter and compiler accessor paths. PrivateAccessorTests covers both engines.
#3484, #3485: ILCompiler.Classes.Definitions, LexicalSuper, RuntimeParents, and ConstructorReceiverEmitter changes. GenericLexicalSuperTests and ArrayLexicalSuperTests cover receiver binding, repeated super, and new.target.
#3509: RuntimeEmitter.Arrays.cs emits each present index once. ArrayDescriptorIterationTests covers the case.
#3512, #3513: SuperConstructorHandler uses the current parent and rechecks the shared receiver after construction. ArrayLexicalSuperTests.DirectSuperKeepsTheReceiverBound... and GenericLexicalSuperTests.RepeatedDirectSuper... cover these paths. The issue reductions use nongeneric user classes and a thrown parent value. No test names that exact shape, so this is partial test evidence.
#3519: SourceDeclarationEmitter.ExportPrefix emits declare only at top level. The implementation is read from the change summary; the source read was truncated before that method. CliDeclarationEmitTests covers quoted enum round-trip and private accessor emit, not the function-only case.
Unresolved uncertainty: the Release build, test pass results, saved-IL verification, and Node or TypeScript comparisons are author-reported. This review did not re-execute them.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
Each changed area maps to a listed objective or to support code for one. The previous assessment covered the first set of areas. This review checks the additions since then.
Interpreter.Expressions.cs indexed writes now route through SetOwnPropertyObjectValue. This supports #3473 and #3517, which require ordinary Get/Put and inherited setter behavior.
Interpreter.cs, Interpreter.CommonJs.cs, and RuntimeEnvironment set RequiresUnmappedArguments for modules and strict code. This supports #3476 unmapped-argument rules.
RuntimeEmitter.Arrays.Search.cs changes $Arguments materialization to use property reads. This supports mapped-argument values in #3476.
TypeChecker.ClassMethodSignatures.cs rejects default values on setter parameters (TS1052). This supports the setter rules in #3483.
TypeChecker.ClassFieldInference.cs and TypeChecker.PrivateAccessors.cs infer private accessor types. This supports #3483 accessor typing.
TypeChecker.Statements.Modules.cs uses a child environment for ambient module members. This supports the local declaration scope required by #2945.
Reflect.deleteProperty and RuntimeEmitter.Reflect.cs route arguments targets through indexed deletion. This supports #3476 deletion and descriptor rules.
No change was found that targets an unrelated feature. The PR description lists defects #3497 to #3520 as tracked elsewhere. The summary shows no implementation for them, and their absence is not a scope failure. The review relied on the change summary for most files. The Interpreter.Expressions and SourceDeclarationEmitter source reads were partial or truncated.

Resolve string-keyed enum members during indexed reads.
For enum E { "a-b" = 1 }, E["a-b"] reaches TS7053 even though the member exists. This prevents the program from running or compiling. Resolve literal string keys against the enum’s members before rejecting the indexed read.

Update indexed-read validation to resolve a literal string key against the
accessed enum’s declared members before rejecting the read, so quoted names such
as "a-b" are accepted when present. Preserve the existing rejection behavior for
keys that do not match an enum member; use the member names parsed through
ConsumeSpecifierName as the source of truth.

Preserve the written token for string enum members.
When an enum member has a string name, ConsumeSpecifierName returns a synthetic token with no source span. The editor syntax index drops its name record, so position queries cannot find it. Alias the normalized token to the written token.

Review comment at @src/SharpTS/Parsing/Parser.Declarations.cs at line 842:
Preserve the source span for string enum member names by updating the token
returned from ConsumeSpecifierName in the enum-member parsing flow. When its
type is TokenType.STRING, alias it to the written token using the existing
AliasEditorToken mechanism and the consumed source token; leave other
member-name handling unchanged.

Filter instance keys during JSON serialization.
Without a replacer array, JSON.stringify serializes non-enumerable instance properties. Use inst.OwnEnumerableKeys() in StringifyInstance so hidden properties are omitted. Preserve the replacer array behavior, which can explicitly select hidden properties.

Automated review follow-up
Ambient enums keep a local declaration scope and preserve quoted names in round-trip declaration emission.
Parameter properties keep earlier initializer writes. Class enumeration rechecks live descriptors before visiting keys. Compiled accessor copy and mutation cases have coverage alongside interpretation.
Direct super calls use the current parent and recheck the shared receiver binding after construction.
Mapped arguments preserve namespace and closure bindings, inherited setters, and sorting. Emission keeps the additional descriptor machinery out of programs that cannot observe arguments.
Private accessor checking covers inferred and forward field dependencies, ambient brands, setter restrictions, and var hoisting. Declaration emit preserves private accessor syntax.
The second review added live callback reads for arguments objects, literal string enum indexing, forward private-getter inference, and enumerable-only JSON serialization with replacer-list support.
